re-distributable Shortcut to Public Folder calendar in Outlook 2010?
OK, I give up, anyone managed to get this working?
Create a Desktop shortcut to an Outlook folder | MSOutlook.info
Outlook 2010
Exchange 2010
All I need is a shortcut I can deploy to everyone's desktop to a common school calendar located in the Exchange public folders
path to folder is: \\Public Folders - my username@***-****.org.uk\All Public Folders\School Calendar
I'd like to be able to deploy a common shortcut not ones I have to customise with each users fully quallified username!
this was an easy job in Outlook 2003!

So, here's how I've had to do it in Outlook 2010 (yeesh..). Create a Shortcut (e.g. on the Desktop)
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\OUTLOOK.EXE" /recycle /select "outlook://Public Folders/All Public Folders/[Your Public Folder]"
with a "Start in" directory of:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12"

In the Spiceworks link its not a solution I can deploy easily, each user would need this done on their account seperatly...
