School Webpage Images
Hi all
I have been asked to look at changeing the main school webpage so that the images change (eg dissolve) into other images. The page is www.perins.net and we have for small prospectus images at the bottom which need changeing. Unfortunately I dont have any flash experience what so ever and from the java scripts ive seen they look abit tacky.
Any Ideas?
Cheers

SYSMAN has incorporated such a thing in the edugeek Joomla package - have you seen that?

If you only have a few images, you can use a basic 'tween' in Flash to produce the desired fading effect... basically, image1 -> white -> image2
A proper CMS is more configurable and has the advantage of plugin modules (like smoothgallery) for doing things like this without any technical knowledge... you could even let a teacher change the pictures!!!
Incidentally... your website appears borken for me (Debian Etch running Iceweasel).
