    Encrypted USB Pen Drive

    Good Afternoon,

Had a teacher come to me this afternoon with her encrypted USB pen that has VITAL work she needs on it, however she has forgot the password for it.

Do you guys know any software that is available to get the information off the usb without the password?

    Thanks

The idea of encryption means you can't do that.

If it is encrypted with truecrpyt or bitlocker though, there was be an unlock code. Bitclocker can be stored in AD and truecrypt creates a recover file i think (it does for laptops which is where I use it).

Laugh and return the USB stick.

If you could access the file without the password or crack it then it wouldn't be very good encryption.
