Downloading files from mappings

Hi Nick,

I came acrosss your product on RM Communities recently and have set up HAP+ 7.7.

I have a few issues which i am trying to work my way through and could use a little help.

I have set up all my mappings and enabled read and write settings appropriately.

Howerver i am experiencing difficulty in downloading or viewing files from the maps.

I can upload, move, delete, rename and create new files or folders but when i try to download or double click on a file i get the error:

Internet explorer cannot download "filename" from easylink. IE was not able to open this internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found.

I can view Jpeg's in the mapping by double clicking and opening them but cant save them.


I am running win server 2003 and IIS6.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check the Do not save encrypted pages to disk option in internet explorer.

It's not ticked. I take it it shouldnt be either?

Try it enabled, as that is what mine is

Still get the same error.

Can you try in a different browser?

Works in Chrome, Cant access hap in FF.

Odd that Firefox doesn't work, as I develop HAP+ using Firefox

Fixed FF issue I needed to add easylink to the "no proxy for" box.

FF can also download the files along with Chrome so there must be some setting in IE preventing it.

I have a problem downloading in "basic authentication setup" "hap+ 7.7" "win2008r2" "IIS 7.5" "member server installation" .

The problem is using every browser and using both basic and extender view.

hapconfig.xml:

H mapping works perfectly
G works but if I download I get:

Looks like it's not putting the username into the path, will have a look into this

I can rename, create folder, move files, delete files but not download files.
