"re-released".. He updated the zip with a new DLL file.. (though this currently appears to break myfiles, so perhaps tread carefully).
Just to show what i see when I get to the setup.aspx screen you can see below that there isn't the usual start using HAP+ button?
The start using HAP+ button only comes up when you save. You need to complete the 1st 2 tabs and move onto the 3rd to get the Save button to show, if it's in FirstRun mode
Check you've updated the setup.aspx page from the latest release, I fixed that last night
Should this version still record logins to SQL? I've set the SQL connection string. Do I need to tell HAP somewhere to look at SQL?
Yes, in the hapConfig.xml set the tracker provider to SQLConnectionString
Anyone else encountering an issue when a user tried to "Open" a file on HAP rather than download the web page goes into a spasm of refreshing?
New feature request:
On the MyFiles upload screen, would it be possible to have a tick box under choose files for "rename files" or similar. Reason behind this is that we're using HAP MyFiles for people to upload from student ipads direct to their home folders, but we've since found that the lovely ipads name all the files EXACTLY the same name :/ meaning they can upload one at a time, rename the file once uploaded and then upload the next.
http://www.edugeek.net/forums/home-a...-document.html) and Nick has come up with a fix for it (Cheers Nick)
Bug confirmed and fixed in v9.1: https://hap.codeplex.com/releases/view/105711
Two more feature requests both for the booking sheet:
1. Could you add in a system for static bookings where by you can add a start and expiry date for static bookings? So if a teacher needs a room for 10 weeks, we can recur that booking for 10 weeks? (only from an admin side of things though, wouldn't want the teachers doing it)
2. Could do with a way of seeing old bookings from past days. When we get damage in an IT room we'd like to be able to go back and see who was in that room the day the damage took place.
Do those two sound likely possibilities?
