Laptops booking not sending emails

Odd one, wierd issue. When booking a laptop, the admins arent getting the email anymore - but if you cancel it; the cancellation comes through! Only Laptop bookings look to be affected. Could you take a look for me? Since updating to 8.6 and now 8.7.

Yep, got me and my team listed by name, with a , and space between each entry. It's weird that we get the cancellations!!

Done a bit more digging. It sends the email to the user; but doesnt send it to the resource admins. To eliminate a white space issue - I listed just myself in there. Oddly, when you cancel - the resource admin gets the cancellation - so is it the new rules engine breaking something?

Odd, the rules execute after the email get sent, have you tried the dll attached to the other post?

Yep, I'm using that dll at the moment. I'm trying to track back to which version it stopped working. It's got to be somewhere in the send to admins bit on the initial booking, as the removal email gets sent to the resource admin.

This is the code in the book function, if the bookie is getting an email, it should in theory work for the admins, is anything getting logged in the event viewer as it failing?

Hmmm :( yes, the bookie is getting the email - but I've reduced the three admin to one (me) and it doesn't come through. This does only apply to laptop type bookings and the initial confirmation. Room or equipment type bookings the resource admin correctly gets the confirmation too. The cancellation is received correctly in both cases

Anything in the event viewer? It should throw an error and log it in the web tracker and event viewer if it was failing for something.

Nothing in the event log, and I've not set up the web tracking yet. Code looks the same as mine

Mind you, after having multiple hap instances, I'm not sure if my hap event log is working. Not seen anything in it for a long time. Any way to remove and re add?

extremely odd, the only thing that's changed is the removal of some debug events.

If you still have a separate Home Access Plus+ event log, you will need to delete it and any registry references to HAP+ so HAP+ can use the Application Event log. You should see logon events listing the application event log from HAP+

Ok, where in the registry am I looking. I've got a separate home access plus + log in event viewer

Regedit search to the rescue. All gone, but nothing logged to app log. No change in behaviour either :-s
