    Booking system

    Is there a way to change the colour of the squares for rooms that are booked? If so where?

    Be good if it's possible as it'd highlight the areas that are free to be booked better.

    EDIT: Infact, is it possible to have a different colour for static bookings, free slots and for non-static bookings?

    Don't know yet, most of the features are going into the v7.x releases as BETA items. It's a case of finding time, got a new curriculum network going in over easter, so it's busy for me at the moment

    Thanks nick, also I've been trying all morning to get the active directory OU view thing to work, trying a few different things with AD, security etc. but to no avail.

    Have you had any other ideas as to what might be causing the problem with the OU viewer not to work?

    Or could you let me know exactly what i need to enter if i'm entering the "Active Directory OU Users" part manually? I've tried just copying the OU path out of active directory attributes but when i try that it just causes the helpdesk and booking systerm to not load.

    Fantastic, that works!

    When compared side by side though everything looked the same, god knows what was different then. Cheers

    Good to hear. I don't know why the AD Viewer doesn't work for some, it's really odd

    I was also looking for a way to do this a while back - It would be great if it could be added in the future. In the meantime, I've set the background colours for the corner icons, which means you can (sort of) tell at a glance which rooms contain permanent bookings and it's a bit more obvious when you hover over a period which is free:

    Booking system-hap_book.jpg

    If I remember rightly I did this just by editing lines 40 and 43 in bookingsystem.css and changing 'transparent' to an actual colour, eg.

    #bookingday .body .col a:hover span.book i { background: #33ff33 url(../images/ui-icons_454545_256x240.png) no-repeat -66px -112px; }

    That works, I will add some code to the JavaScript that renders the grid to add a class name to the free, booked and timetabled lessons

    Ok, I've looked into it, and I was adding a css class to each link that is free, it's called .free

    so, the css would be something like

    Code:
    #bookingday .body .col a.free { background-color: #33ff33 }
    I've added into the v7.11 release css classes for static and booked so from v7.11 you can do:

    Code:
    #bookingday .body .col a.static { background-color: #red }
