    Remove this from ~/scripts/viewmode.js:

    Code:
    else document.getElementById('versionquest').style.display = 'block';

    The MyFiles browser is pretty much feature complete, you could (like I've done) switch completely over to the v8 version

    I've been running it as the default on my test server for some time too
    Once i've run through all of the features i'll make the switch, but i really like the idea of allowing the kids/staff to get a peak before i roll it over. It's a great way of introducing change!

    No issues yet though

    You just need to change the links that point to the old my computer browser to /myfiles/

    Yep, setup.aspx, or hapConfig.xml. Set the My Files link to point to ~/myfiles/ instead of ~/mycomputer.aspx

    Hi Nick,

    I've got the beta myfiles working and I must say it's a vast visual improvement on the extended. There is a snag tho. While admins are free to upload/download files, staff & pupils get challenged with a restricted filetype box. This doesn't happen with either the html or extended file browsers. Can you think of a reason this might be happening?

    thanks in advance
