    Question Alternative to Active Directory

Is there a way to setup HAP+ without Active Directory such as using a Database? Has anyone completed this? We don't have a server, and we really like this program. We do have an MS SQL Server.

Our website is hosted through an external web hosting company. I'm a beginner, so I don't think that would work or would it be a database?

Hosting off site won't work as you won't be able to link to file servers etc
