17th January 2012, 12:36 PM #1 Setting up v7.9
I have installed HAP in the past but not used it fully.
I have just installed it again now on IIS7 on server 2008 following the instructions.
When I browse to the set up page I have three red crosses next to...
IIS7 Integrated Pipeline:
Services Activated:
App_Data Write Accss:
I'm confused as to what might be causing all three to be red?
Thanks

13th February 2012, 03:10 PM #3 Yep, I'm still stuck at the same stage.
When I try to set the base settings under Active Directory I always get this error...

I also always get the three red crosses on the font screen, even though I have currently given full access to everyon on the app_data folder?

18th February 2012, 08:59 PM #4 Well your problem is the checks have failed, you wont be able to get HAP+ working correctly without passing those checks.
You have missed telling the app pool to use Integrated Pipeline mode.

20th February 2012, 12:10 PM #5 Hi Nick,
Thanks for replying but I think I do have it set correctly. I have attached a screenshot of my settings ...

Does that look right?
thanks

20th February 2012, 12:19 PM #6 My problem is that I am getting:
IIS7 Integrated Pipeline: Green tick
Services Activated: Red cross
App_Data Write Accss:Green tick
and when I try to enter the administrator password I get the error "Not Found".
I have gone through the setup procedure again and all the settngs look correct. The only difference is that instead of having the HAP files in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\HAP, we have put them in D:\inetpub\wwwroot\HAP.
Obviously this is preventing me from making any configuration changes so I would appreciate some help with this.

20th February 2012, 02:38 PM #11 Do you get a 404 when you go to /api/setup/ in the browser?
-
-
20th February 2012, 02:56 PM #12 I'm making myself look extra dumb here but do you mean if I browse to http://server/api/setup or http://server/hap/api/setup?
If it is the first then I get a 404, if it is the latter then I get a 500 error.
thanks

20th February 2012, 04:04 PM #13 Hi Nick
I get a 404.
I have made some progress. I realised I was not logging on to the secure site. Now I get all the ticks but when I enter the administrator password nothing happens, i.e. I do not get authorised to use AD.

20th February 2012, 04:05 PM #14 It's the latter, can you access that page from the server and paste there error. I think it may be to do with not using HTTPS

Hi @salc, in that case I'll need you to do some HAP+ JSON Debugging
