Newbie to this so forgive me - more a apache man then an IIS!
Read through the documentation but not sure if i am missing something required for 7.8, all i get is

and also I cannot get the IIS7 Intergrated pipeline working?

And I have the same issue as this thread

But can't seem to get the AD part working, have done the dot net recommendations (i think!) for the various other threads

Have you tried reinstalling .net 4/running the repair option/running the restore defaults option.

In IIS you need to make sure the HAP+ apppool is running in integrated pipeline mode, which the red x next to integrated pipeline is saying

Its setup as Intergrated and IIS is set to use the HAP application pool, and yes reinstalled dot net 4 - although from teh same installer. Will try another one in the morning - how do you restore defaults from it? i only get repair/remove options?

Have reinstalled .net 4 from the web, I've also created a new application pool and tried to remove the app from IIS and recreate but i still get an error as in the first screenshots.

Got mine working kind of working; I can get the services activated check box and browse AD organizational units, but still don't have a green check on the pipeline. To get services working I enabled SSL on the site using a self signed cert.

Got mine working... Need to enable SSL. I'm just using a self signed cert for evaluation right now.

• Select the server in the IIS mmc in the treeview on the left
• Open the server certificates under feature view
• Add a self signed cert
• Select the site in the treeview at the left, right click -> Edit Bindings
• Add HTTPs
• Then open SSL settings for the site in the features view
• Add a check to the Require SSL box and apply settings

I know the list is quick and dirty, but I was just going out the door when I saw your reply. This got AD working and the Services Activated check mark to appear, but the pipeline still isn't working. I hope this helps...

Ok i've got it running - apart from the intergrated pipes at which i'm stumped.

I can't login as just get this - is it to do with Intergrated pipes?

@Duke5A, you shouldn't need to do the Require SSL CheckBox.

Browse to /hap/api/setup, post the error message if one is presented
