    Help with Configuring HAP+

    Hello, I am now able to access HAP+ Setup, but still getting some errors when going through config

    When I enter AD details and click on Students Group I get the mst'Message From WebPage'
    Help with Configuring HAP+-message-webpage.jpg
    Then AD Broswer Appears as in 'Active Directory Browser'
    Help with Configuring HAP+-active-directory-browser.jpg

    Also when I press Save I get the following message
    Help with Configuring HAP+-save.jpg

    Please help.

    Also can anyone point me to a config guide for 'Home Drives' etc. In our school we have two file servers for students, home drive paths somthing like

    \\servername\students\year\%username%

    How can I define this in HAP+????

    For the service activation issue, please see any of these threads: http://www.edugeek.net/search.php?searchid=4801463, usually telling .net to reset to details fixes most things

    The Save Message is just that, a message, it is not an error. It is a Stop, Think and Check message, follow the instructions.

    If you have their my documents mapping set in the AD Home Directory property, just use %homedir% instead, this will work regardless. Otherwise, you will need to define groups, and use a separate letter

    I Installed this today and I cant seem to get past the System.ServiceModel.ServiceActivationException Error when trying to do the Active Directory credentials either.

    When trying to put in a student group, the AD Browser is blank. I can log into HAP fine though.
    I installed it on server 2003 R2 with IIS 6. Also followed the install notes to the "T"

    Ah, right, on this error, are you running your HAP+ site on HTTPS or HTTP?

    If just the latter, try:

    HTML Code:
    <system.serviceModel>
      <behaviors>
       <serviceBehaviors>
        <behavior name="">
         <serviceDebug includeExceptionDetailInFaults="true"/>
         <serviceMetadata httpGetEnabled="true" httpsGetEnabled="true" />
        </behavior>
       </serviceBehaviors>
      </behaviors>
      <serviceHostingEnvironment aspNetCompatibilityEnabled="true" multipleSiteBindingsEnabled="true" />
      <standardEndpoints>
       <webHttpEndpoint>
        <standardEndpoint name="" helpEnabled="true" automaticFormatSelectionEnabled="true" faultExceptionEnabled="true" />
       </webHttpEndpoint>
      </standardEndpoints>
    </system.serviceModel>

    Its just HTTP. I tried replacing the text in the web.config but there is still no tick for "services activated" and i still get the error.

    when i login using http://localhost/HAP/api/setup.aspx i get this:

    Server Error in '/HAP' Application.

    Paul Levett from Levett Consultancy is providing an official HAP+ installation service email: paul@levettconsultancy.co.uk

    The Url is /hap/setup.aspx, not /hap/api/setup.aspx. What happens when you go to /hap/api/setup
