    I have upgraded to v7.7 and it has worked! It has imported all the lessons!

    However, now it won't actually display them on the booking system, or any room. When I load the main BookingSystem, I get the following:

    Code:
    Internal Server Error
    Firebug in Firefox is saying:

    Code:
    "NetworkError: 500 Internal Server Error - http://localhost/HAP/api/BookingSystem/LoadRoom/29-11-2011/L4
    That error comes up once for every room, and it's always that date.

    More specific in FireBug:

    Code:
    <body bgcolor="white">

                <span><H1>Server Error in '/HAP' Application.<hr width=100% size=1 color=silver></H1>

                <h2> <i>Could not find a base address that matches scheme https for the endpoint with binding WebHttpBinding. Registered base address schemes are [http].</i> </h2></span>

                <font face="Arial, Helvetica, Geneva, SunSans-Regular, sans-serif ">

                <b> Description: </b>An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.
    and
    Code:
    The service &#39/HAP/api/bookingsystem&#39 cannot be activated due to an exception during compilation. The exception message is: Could not find a base address that matches scheme https for the endpoint with binding WebHttpBinding. Registered base address schemes are [http

    Check in IIS that the bindings are correct.

    By bindings, what do you mean?

    What ports/protocols IIS will use on your website

    I'm only using standard http, as SSL isn't required (as we're only using this internally).

    In the dubugging, it also says this:

    Code:
    An endpoint reference cycle was detected in your configuration. The following reference cycle must be removed: webHttpEndpoint/, webHttpEndpoint/. (C:\inetpub\wwwroot\HAP\web.config line 197)
       at System.ServiceModel.Description.ConfigLoader.LookupEndpoint(ServiceEndpointElement serviceEndpointElement, ContextInformation context, ServiceHostBase host, ServiceDescription description, Boolean omitSettingEndpointAddress)

    Removing it doesn't help. Now I'm not getting any description in the errors. Just this:

    Here's that section of code from ~\HAP\web.config.xml:
    Code:
    <system.serviceModel>
    		<behaviors>
    			<serviceBehaviors>
    				<behavior name="">
    					<serviceDebug includeExceptionDetailInFaults="true"/>
    					<serviceMetadata httpGetEnabled="true" httpsGetEnabled="true" />
    				</behavior>
    			</serviceBehaviors>
    		</behaviors>
    		<bindings>
    			<webHttpBinding>
    				<binding>
    					<security mode="Transport" />
    				</binding>
    			</webHttpBinding>
    		</bindings>
    		<serviceHostingEnvironment aspNetCompatibilityEnabled="true" multipleSiteBindingsEnabled="true" />
    		<standardEndpoints>
    			<webHttpEndpoint>
    				<standardEndpoint name="" helpEnabled="true" automaticFormatSelectionEnabled="true" faultExceptionEnabled="true">
    					<security mode="Transport"/>
    				</standardEndpoint>
    			</webHttpEndpoint>
    		</standardEndpoints>
    	</system.serviceModel>
    Line 197, which is where it says there's an error is:
    Code:
    <standardEndpoint name="" helpEnabled="true" automaticFormatSelectionEnabled="true" faultExceptionEnabled="true">

    Try
    HTML Code:
     <system.serviceModel>
            <behaviors>
                <serviceBehaviors>
                    <behavior name="">
                        <serviceDebug includeExceptionDetailInFaults="true"/>
                        <serviceMetadata httpGetEnabled="true" httpsGetEnabled="true" />
                    </behavior>
                </serviceBehaviors>
            </behaviors>
            <serviceHostingEnvironment aspNetCompatibilityEnabled="true" multipleSiteBindingsEnabled="true" />
            <standardEndpoints>
                <webHttpEndpoint>
                    <standardEndpoint name="" helpEnabled="true" automaticFormatSelectionEnabled="true" faultExceptionEnabled="true" />
                </webHttpEndpoint>

    It is working, but now I'm trying to deny access for specific groups of users in AD. I have only defined two groups:

    Code:
    <OU name="Domain Admins" path="LDAP://OU=Technicians,DC=christ,DC=local" visibility="Both" />
    <OU name="Staff" path="LDAP://OU=Teachers,OU=Staff,DC=christ,DC=local" visibility="Both" />
    The problem is, that students can also log in, even though they aren't defined. Their OU path is OU=Students,DC=christ,DC=local.

    Also, what is the config to deny user from gaining access to certain areas? For example:

    Code:
    <location path="setup.aspx">
    		<system.web>
    			<authorization>
    				<allow users="*" />
    			</authorization>
    		</system.web>
    	</location>

    Thanks, that's working.

    My next step, now that I'm happy with the installation on my local machine, is to install it on our 2K8R2 server.

    I'm having trouble on our Server 2008 R2 II7 trying to set it up. The server in question is a DC.

    When I try to add permissions for the IIS AppPool\HAP, it doesn't exist. I cannot select Service Accounts from the local server, as the option for Service Accounts just isn't there.

    Any ideas?

    HAP+ Runs best of a Terminal/Remote Desktop Server. It tends to not like DC's as they don't allow everyone to have interactive Logon Rights
