HAP+ (7.5) has stopped working. Everything was fine, however now when I try and connect, I get a standard error page, saying:
This problem can be caused by a variety of issues, including:
•Internet connectivity has been lost.
•The website is temporarily unavailable.
•The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable.
•The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the website's domain.
•There might be a typing error in the address.
•If this is an HTTPS (secure) address, click Tools, click Internet Options, click Advanced, and check to be sure the SSL and TLS protocols are enabled under the security section.
I have tried via the public address and also via the server name, also directly from the server itself referencing https://localhost/hap
I've done an IISReset and also restarted the server. What should I be looking at next?

26th October 2011, 10:47 AM #2 I've just noticed I can get the non-https site up, so the issue is something to do with SSL.

26th October 2011, 01:24 PM #4 Certificate's good. I have just deleted and recreated the binding on Default Web Site, and it is working again now. What might have caused that?

26th October 2011, 02:04 PM #6 I had my IIS at home stop working last week, couldn't using the RD Gateway, or IIS, ended up reinstalling IIS to get it working again

So, put it on the "one of those things" pile and wait to see if it does it again? I'll keep you posted...

31st October 2011, 10:06 AM #8 Hi Nick, unfortunately it dropped out again over the weekend at some point; deleting and recreating the https binding resolved it. Was good on Thursday, dead by Saturday (don't know about Friday). Our server is scheduled to restart in the early hours of Saturday, could that have some impact?

31st October 2011, 02:38 PM #9 Shouldn't do, none of my IIS servers I run at work have had this bug, they restart at 3am on Wednesday (if MS have released updates)

31st October 2011, 02:48 PM #10 Just seems a funny coincidence that both times it has gone squiffy has been over a weekend. I'll try scheduling a restart for tonight and see what happens...

31st October 2011, 06:08 PM #11 Really odd. HAP+ doesn't control IIS in this way, it doesn't have the permissions to do so

31st October 2011, 11:49 PM #12 Just a thought, it's not anything to do with the application pool not recycling properly, I have seen this once before (many moons ago) where the app pool didn't recycle properly and basically killed off the whole site
May be worth a look

1st November 2011, 09:40 AM #13 Definitely looks to be restart related. I know it was working yesterday evening, I restarted the server overnight and it is down this morning.
