    Hi,

I am still getting the issue. This is my structure.

HAP is hosted on Forest1 (This is my top DC in the forest)
HAP Domain Details are linked to Student (this is the tree off the forest)

I think it has something to with the multiple domains, I can create a user on the Forest1 and login perfectly. Do you think the issue is because HAP cannot read down the domain controllers?

    Craig

More than likely. I'll try and look into this for the next v7.7 release

    Hi Nick

Any ideas on my issue? Where could I start to troubleshoot why HAP cant look at my domain structure.

    DomainName.internal
    > Domain Computers
    > Domain Controllers
    > Domain Groups
    > Domain Members
    > Domain Services (HAP username is in this OU)
    > Domain Users
    >> Staff
    >> Students

HAP user is a Domain Admin

As a second query... with the new auth scheme, any way of getting it to play nicely with TMG/ISA for SSO? Thats what I loved about 6!

Urm... yea it was the setup.aspx page where I was getting the issue with the AD browser. Those DLLs broke something... browsing to setup now gives...

Description: An error occurred during the compilation of a resource required to service this request. Please review the following specific error details and modify your source code appropriately.

Compiler Error Message: CS1061: 'ASP.setup_aspx' does not contain a definition for 'sg_TextChanged' and no extension method 'sg_TextChanged' accepting a first argument of type 'ASP.setup_aspx' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

    Line 112: <asp:Label runat="server" Text="Students Group: " AssociatedControlID="sg" />
    Line 113: <asp:TextBox runat="server" ID="sg" Text="" AutoPostBack="true" ontextchanged="sg_TextChanged" onclick="showadbrowser(this, 'group');" />

Changed the DLLs, and was getting the same error - until replaced the setup.aspx as well. Then - the issue is back as the AD Browser not displaying anything other than the progress loading bar.

@TheScarfedOne, going to need you to do some DEBUGGING for me:

    HAP+ JSON Debugging

Also can you use the HAP Logging Setup to create a Event Viewer Log, and see if HAP+ is writing anything to it

    at HAP.Web.API.setup.FillNode(DirectoryEntry root)
    Message:

I've looked into 0x80072020, and it looks like a permissions issue, which user are you using in the AD Setup Steps?

Right...im back at the Null Response stage again on the JSON request. The user is a Domain Admin.

    GetADTreeResult: null

Does it matter where in the AD structure the user is?

Doesn't for me, as the domain administrator account, and my own personal account are in two separate OUs. Both are Domain Admins.
