Say a timetabling change has been made and you import that change but a teacher has booked out that room 4 weeks in advance.
Currently it seems that the booking made by the teacher overides the static booking until the teacher booking is deleted, the period then gets populated by the static booking.

Dear nick,
I think it might be nice to be able to set the defaul file vie for each mapped folder (detailed, small icons, large icons, and so on)
Ciao

Hi Nick,
Support for Quotas provided by server 2008's File Server Resource Manager (instead of old disk-based quotas) would be very much appreciated. The API is here IFsrmQuotaManager::GetQuota method
Thanks!

20th December 2011, 05:03 PM #64 As soon as I we get our new RM CC4.3 servers (3 of them) I'll be able to move to the File Server Resource Manager API. That wont be until Feb half term. So expect a 8.x release which will enable support.

- Move to using a Metro Stylized UI (Booking System will go over in v7.5)
- Main Strings will be Localized, so you can, via the setup page (Should be something like localstrings.xml <strings><string id="module-page-some-id"><=!=[=C=D=A=T=A=[String]=]=></string></strings>)
Any other requests?
Hi @nickbro I am not evanished, I am just terriply busy with other business (DHCP and migration of email system).
we mapped a folder with 80 pictures of approx. 13 MB each and we noticed it takes a long time to show the icons (the processors on the server hosting hap are @98% for a while).
would it be possible to speed up the process ( maybe to use the thumb.db file is present or other tricks)?
thanks again for your wonderful work
Gian

17th February 2012, 01:02 AM #67 I think I've managed to code something that will speed up thumbnail generation, using the windows api calls.

17th February 2012, 09:57 AM #70 Hey Nick,
Gets a step further in that it loads the root MyFiles UI. However, i cannot open any of the drives - nothing happens, just spins the red circle next to the drive name..
I recall changing my hapconfig.xml file to usagemode="DriveSpace" recently.. would that cause a problem? Shout that be set back to the other mode? (i forget the syntax)
My only other observation is that for an admin type user, i see correct space quota's on all of the drives under My Drives, but when i log on as a regular user, i dont see anything in the space where the percentage bar should be.
Cheers,
Matt

Hi nick,
Firstly, this is a great project... Amazing that you're happy to share it with everyone.
My dream request.... Any chance of building in some kind of basic document editor(doesn't need to be as fancy as office web apps etc)? Was thinking it would be immense for mobile users to be able to make alterations to word docs etc... Something of that nature anyway? We have a lot of potential iPad users, and this platform works superb on it, but only in a read only fashion pretty much
Maybe something for version 9? Haha
Anyways, top bloke and cheers again
Andy

1st March 2012, 05:22 PM #73 the config of this is a major headache to me as a non web orientated person, is there any way of creating an installer option that might simplify the initial setup?

An editor is a bit of a PITA. There is an option on the new my files to send a document to google docs

Unfortunately not, the MSI I did have for the old < v5 versions didn't work for the specific IIS settings needed.
