    v7 Setup Problem

    Hi!

Looking forward to getting v7 up and running (and like the look of the new metro style for v7.5)

Unfortunately I'm having a bit of a problem getting it up and running. On first glance it looks to be a similar issue with bindings however I'm either missing something really obvious, or somethign else is going on...

If I set up with just https binding I get the following error pop up when I enter the user password for the AD connection: SYstem.ServiceModel.ServiceActivationException. In my application event log I also get the message:
    Code:
The exception message is: Could not find a base address that matches scheme http for the endpoint with binding WebHttpBinding. Registered base address schemes are [https].. ---> System.InvalidOperationException: Could not find a base address that matches scheme http for the endpoint with binding WebHttpBinding. Registered base address schemes are [https].
If I add in the http binding then I just get a pop up saying Internal Server Error when entering the password.

I have tried adding the site in as a new website and also as a virtual path in an existing website (which was how I got HAP 6 to work).

    I have also tried removing:
    Code:
from the web.config but doing so sets me Bad Request when I enter the password.

I'm pretty sure I've followed the video and the documentation correctly, but I'm obviously missing something.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

    Hi Nick

Unfortunately that gives me a pop up with Bad Request when I enter the password (that's with HAP as the root directory and as a sub directory)

HAP+ doesn't really like being at the root, it prefers a sub folder

Ah! went back through the setup of the app pool in v6 and se the Identity to NetworkService and we're all up and running!

Noticed the timetable page - is this work in progress or is there a report def available to populate it?

Everytime I logon regardless of the user account under the email address it has what looks like a disk space bar and has the figure -2% inside it

Any ideas what this means and why it appears for every user? is there a way to hide it?

    Thanks in advance

Which version of HAP+ are you running? -2 means something went wrong trying to get the disk space (either via quota or drive space)

Try upgrading to v7.4, I think I added some code that hides the progress bar if its < 0%
