I am seeing the same issue I had with 6.5. When uploading with the extended version, I end up getting a corrupt file error when opening the docs. In the basic version, this does not happen. Can anyone offer any help with this please?

The MSCB (My School Computer Browser) Extended Edition will be replaced with a HTML5 site in version 8 (not that far away).

After a bit of additional tweaking to the web.config file (removing the lines about endpoints and setting the svg mime type), I got everything running and could log in. however now when I try, I get a logon error saying unknown user or password (screenshot below). I've tried restarting IIS a few times, but the error remains, also tried domain admin, staff and pupil logons, all of which fail.

    Any ideas?

    The username/password entered into setup.aspx isn't correct. Make sure it's the administrator's username/password

That's an impersonation error, meaning the user cannot be impersonated by HAP+. As it suggests, something is wrong with your configuration.

Perfectly possible I typed it incorrectly - how do I now change it though? When I browse to ~/hap/setup.aspx, I just get the logon screen...

    Edit the web.config

    look for ~/setup.aspx

set it to <allow users="*" /> remove any other rules

Thanks Nick. I've changed the password and re-instated the <deny user="*" /> (as per the instructions on the setup page); I can still log in but everyone else gets the below message.

As it suggests something is wrong when it's trying to impersonate the current user, which is very odd. What User are you running the HAP+ application pool as?

Do you mean the process model identity in IIS? If so, that is set "application pool identity"; if you mean the user specified in setup.aspx, that is administrator.
