18th September 2011, 07:58 PM #2 Nice work Nick - will see about upgrading tomorrow. Will this release work with FF, as noone in our school seems to be able to get on it using FF at home (inc me)!

18th September 2011, 08:01 PM #3 How odd, I use FF and all works fine for me. Should see a few improvements in v7. Which version of IIS?

18th September 2011, 08:49 PM #4 Running it on server 2003 (RM...) so I think that's v6? Can use FF with IE tab but not FF alone - just doesn't work for anyone, home or in school. Also as some staff have Macs they can't use it with the default browser they use.

18th September 2011, 08:50 PM #5 That is very odd. I use firefox to develop HAP+

Hi,
We found at our site that if you add /HAP FOLDER NAME onto the end of the URL it worked fine in FF.
What appears be the problem is that RM don't support anything other than IE for their management console, or at least with CC3...

Aha! Yes that worked. Now, why is this and how can we make it just work without that??

It would appear to be to do with the way login/authentications work with easy link/management console. Although I think I may have found a way to beat it
shall. Try and feed back as soon as I can.
It all would appear to resolve around the authorise folder in web components, which is located in the RMManage share.

18th September 2011, 10:03 PM #9 The way I do it is with another server and a UrlRewrite on that server. Any requests to / are redirected to hap, then hap has a link for management console which goes to /authorise/. On the server, any folder that isn't present in IIS gets redirected to our RM server for it to deal with.
