    Securing HAP+

    Whats the best way to make HAP as secure as possible over the internet, I am guessing disabling the HTTP option and only allowing HTTPS connections - if so are self signed certificates a no no and what other measures should be taken?

    Thanks

    Thanks Nick will give them a try,

    If we wanted to use the external URL:

    https://folders.schoolname.borough.sch.uk/homeaccess

    For example, what address would we enter in the common name field when registering the certificate?

    CN = folders.schoolname.borough.sch.uk

    Simple as that really.
