    Ampersands

    Hi Nick,

    I've found that files containing ampersands in the filename get stuck when using the basic mode and drag and drop upload - it just sticks on:

    Test & File.txt
    5.00 bytes - Checking...

    If I use the HTML upload or enhanced mode however it works.

    Thanks

    John

    Nick,

    The ampersands also cause an issue with thumbnails of jpegs not showing in the enhanced version.

    I've just checked this too on 6.5 and still getting stuck on 'Checking' when uploading a file with the basic viewer using drag and drop I'm afraid!

    HTTP really HATES ampersands. The basic version still uses the old checking methods which is what may be causing issues. Does it cause issues with the extended version?

    Sorry Nick - I found this morning it looks like when I did a fresh install to upgrade, I forgot to put the 6.5 patch on, so I'll retest this and the chrome/safari/opera problem.

    Is there any simple way to check the installed version?

    Right click on any page and look in the header, you should find:

    Code:
    <meta name="generator" content="HAP.Web - Version: 6.5.0.0" />

  10. Thanks to nickbro from:
