Version 6.2 is coming a long nicely, should be released soon. It will have a bit better Active Directory control, with only 2 places you need to enter your ad username and password. (HAPCONFIG > ADSETTINGS & ASP.NET MEMBERSHIP PROVIDER)

Version 6.3 Released Today, download it from Home Access Plus+ - Download: v6.3

Version 7 Development Status:

• New Authentication System using FBA
• User impersonation is only done when needed
• New Logon Page to go with FBA
• Better Searching in the extended version
• Start of Development on a combination of extended and basic computer browsers
• Some more little features in the booking system
• Turning Debugging on in the web.config will provide some useful help for finding problems
• No AD Connection string required
• 1 instance of your delegated/administrators username/password
• administrators password will be encrypted in the web.config and decrypted at run-time
• Support for multi-domain controller domains (less load on the pdc)

• Attempt at fixing Chrome/Safari/Opera issue with downloading
• Added File Size/Last Write meta data to downloads (When you download your browser can give you and ETA)
• Fix for the Term Dates in the Booking System
• Moved iCal generation to write to the ~/App_Data/ folder
• Increased the buffer size in the User Card

Hi all, here is a v7 update

v7.0:

Release Date: DELAYED (Expected alpha build on 5th September with codeplex release on 13th)

Features:

• WYSIWYG Setup Page
• SIMS.net Report Template for Booking System
• Forms Based Authentication
• Increased Security

Currently, none of these features have been built into a alpha build, seperate project code bases exist at present.

v7.5:

Release Date: Unknown (Expected alpha build on 8th Oct)

Features:

• Any outstanding Bug Fixes from the v7.0.x releases
• jQuery based booking system interface

v8

Release Date: Unknown (Expected alpha build in 2012)

Features:

• Any outstanding Bug Fixes from the v7.1.x releases
• jQuery based MSCB (My School Computer Browser)
• New JSON APIs
• Drag and Drop Upload/Move support using HTML5

v7 ALPHA Build 7.0.0609.0140, []Invalid Query String, just hit codeplex source control, hopefully will be able to bring BETA1 to testers (still need more) by the 11th
