    It 's to do with the update checker. It can't parse the XML properly. I'll add some error handling into the update checker to look out for this, and ignore it.

    Open ~/default.aspx and remove the <hap:updatechecker> tag

    It requires access to the web to get the RSS feed. So either you haven't put the proxy details in, or they aren't working properly

    Web filtering. What URL do you use so I can unblock it. If it's Codeplex that would explain why, as this is blocked.
