i have installed Home access plus and have it working as I want.
It occurred to me that I should probably have it running as a secure website and this is where I get stuck in IIS 7.
I have the Home access running from a sub folder of the default web site directory called Extranet and for some reason I have another sub folder inside that called extranet as well.
Anyway I can't add bindings to the sub folder, extranet, only to the default web site folder.
Can anyone suggest how I could secure this subfolder?
You can't secure a sub folder, you can only secure the whole site, but you can set it to respond to both HTTP and HTTPS requests and just block the extranet folder from allowing non HTTP connections.
You should be able to remove that sub application extranet without any issues
To do the next stop you will need the IIS Url Rewrite: URL Rewrite : The Official Microsoft IIS Site
