    Globally Enable Direct Edit

    Sorry if this is obvious but cant see it, is there a way to default direct edit to be globally enabled for all users all the time?

    also can a redirect be put on that after completing a direct edit it takes you back to your files?

    PS Excellent work on the direct edit NickBro

    You will need to edit the page to enable that

    Edit ~/myfiles/default.aspx, line 102
    HTML Code:
     <div id="directedit" class="hapmenu tile-border-color">
            <label for="hapdirectedit">Enable <hap:LocalResource runat="server" StringPath="myfiles/directedit" />: </label>
            <input type="checkbox" id="hapdirectedit" />
        </div>
    to
    HTML Code:
     <div id="directedit" class="hapmenu tile-border-color">
            <label for="hapdirectedit">Enable <hap:LocalResource runat="server" StringPath="myfiles/directedit" />: </label>
            <input type="checkbox" id="hapdirectedit" checked="checked" />
        </div>
    The redirect back to the page won't work unfortunately due to the way it launches directedit

  3. Thanks to nickbro from:

    Thanks Nick thanks Excellent

    No problem on the redirect - if in the future this can be done it would be excellent but dont worry too much.
