    HAP v10 Helpdesk

    Hi @nickbro

I'm having some problems with the v10 helpdesk.

One being this error when attempting to do anything with an existing ticket such as Update.

The other being this one when anyone logs a ticket.

Also, I know you added things such as only allowing staff to view announcements and assests within the helpdesk, do you have any documentation on how to use this?

    TIA

Ok, you'll need to put some text into the display name AD field, as I think that's what it's complaining about

    Hi Nick,

The Display Name field is already filled in with the users full name.

Hmmm I'll turn it off to test. Works with the same settings on v9.7.

Ok, you may need to reinput the SMTP password, I think I moved to encrypting it in v10

Ah that'll be it. I didn't recreate the hapconfig.XML. I copied it from my v9 install.

Hi Nick, It would appear I have sorted this, I have migrated over to using SQL for my helpdesk, much faster!

However, I have no dialog box when I click Update like I did in v9 do I cant close any cases!

The help desk has changed, click on the status and it will change to a drop down box, the update button actually updates the ticket, it's all inline editing now

Hi @nickbro, I'm still seeing the first error. If you create a new ticket, fill it out and press Update it comes up. Then if you refresh the page it appears as it should. All notification emails are working as they should. It also happens when I update / close tickets.
