    Unhappy Room Booking issues

    I have a problem with the room booking process.

    A lot of our staff are a bit click happy and due to the small delay in the booking system refreshing they are booking a resource for the same lesson. Instead of the system saying that a lesson exists it will book them in the next lesson instead. In the bookings.xml I have duplicate entries like the ones below

    I'm guessing this is something to do with my config (unless there is no code to prevent this) but I've yet to work out what it is.

    Any help gratefully received as the only workaround I can see at the moment is to tell staff to have more patience and we know that won't work.

    I believe @Minimo has attempted to fix this in the latest release.

    Yes - Pretty sure I've added some code to try and handle the case you describe.

    The case I've not yet fixed (and I just know Nick is going to love watching me attempt to handle this is the following: [this is broken in 9.7, less broken in '10', but still broken]:
    Laptop charging booking
    Consider following - 10 period day:
    You book P2 then P4 for laptops - this means P1=Unavailable, P2=Lesson, P3=Charge, P4=Lesson, P5=Charge.
    You then Delete either the P2 booking.
    At this point, P3 charging goes, and it becomes a free period [as the unavailable period didn't go in as it wasn't needed].

    My rough plan here is to double book the P3 with unavailable+charging so that when you delete P2 or P4... P3 still remains busy.

    Congrats if the above logic made any sense - but in any case, I've probably just scared Nick

    Thanks @minimoo I have a further issue on this though that staff can overwrite others bookings i.e. they appear to the system as admins. Is there anything I can do to find out why this is?

    Edit: Actually I've just discovered this as an error on one of my web.config files.
