Question Booking System and Helpdesk auto login

    Hello everyone,

We have just got the booking system up and running and working quite well. I was just wondering if the following authentication scenario is supported:

If so, is it possible for it to be set up like this:

https://hap.school.lea.sch.uk/hap/bookingsystem - this uses Windows Authentication and logs the user in automatically
https://hap.school.lea.sch.uk/hap/helpdesk - this uses Windows Authentication and logs the user in automatically

but if they were to go to: https://hap.school.lea.sch.uk/hap - it would show the login form and ask for username and password.

    Thanks.

I know I use HAP in that way for onsite+offsite use, however I *think* that might be because I bounced to asp.net 4.5. However - It's definitely a scenario, I'd like to ensure we support out the box in some way - so it may be a case of it doesn't do it just yet in the official builds

(@nick - is this scenario supported with asp.net 4 - IIRC i ended up needing to support multiple authentication via wcf which was a new feature in 4.5, hence my bounce)

See this video: Home Access Plus+ - Documentation

It enables kerberos/NTLM logon for internal pcs. When a user goes to the home page they are greeted with a you have been auto logged in, some functionality doesn't work, click here to log in.

I have just managed to get that working. Just what I was looking for!!

    3 questions:

1). If access the site using https://servername/hap it Signs In automatically. However, if I go to: https://hap.school.lea.sch.uk/hap it doesn't. How can I get that working? I don't mind if I have to use https://servername/hap other than it prompts about an invalid certificate.

2). When it signs me in automatically this error is displayed: "Invalid length for a Base-64 char array or string.". Any Ideas?

3). When accessing https://servername/hap on Chrome, the Forms username and password page is displayed, however, on Internet Explorer it logs in straight away. Is there a setting in Chrome that needs to be changed?

    Thanks!
