    Email notifications to Room admins

    Hi

    I am using HAP 9 and trying to set up the emailing feature for when bookings are made.

    1. How long should it take for the emails to come through?
    2. Should it be the username or full email address that should be entered in the room admin?
    3. At the moment my bookie is getting a confirmation email but not the room admin, is there anywhere else this needs to be set other than the hapconfig.xml?
    4. Should it email the room admin if you override a booking? Or is there a way to get it to do this?

    3. Set the emailadmin to true, so no just the hapConfig.xml
    4. Yes

    You need to make sure that the user has the email address in the mail AD attribute

    Hi Nick,

    Thanks for the reply. I think i have developed a bottle neck somewhere. It is temperamental but when i make or want to delete a booking in the booking system it takes anywhere between 10-30 seconds to change on the screen after clicking save or delete. Emails take between 1-10 minutes to send :S

    Any ideas?
