Upload Button / New Folder missing for some students
Runing HAP+ v8.7 on 2008 R2 member server.
Year 7 home folders are hosted on a 2008R2 member server.
Years 8~11 on a 2003 member server.
Year 7, everything working ok.
Years 8~11 the Upload & New Folder buttons disappear after the page loads.
Share & NTFS permissions are the same for all students; they have Change share permission and Modify NTFS.
I've tried tweaking the permissions and disabling the Read/Write checks.
Hope someone can help!

Should also have mentioned that the students with the problem CAN delete files and folders even though they cannot upload.
Thanks.

25th February 2013, 10:51 AM #3 How odd, can you post your <myfiles> section of the hapConfig.xml file please?
HAP+ doesn't YET use NTFS permissions to see if it can do stuff, it makes a small file and deletes it to see what permissions it has.
You can also try doing some HAP+ JSON Debugging and look for what Action it is coming back with

Hi Nick,
Mappings below..
<mappings>
<mapping drive="H" name="Home Drive" enablereadto="All" enablewriteto="All" enablemove="False" usagemode="DriveSpace">%homedir%</mapping>
</mappings>
I've installed Firebug and can view the debug info. Not sure which action I should be looking for. I've tried to compare a working and non working logon and cannot see any differences.. nothing that jumps out anyway.
Thanks.

Nick,
What is the file type that is used to test write ability? I suspect it's to do with File Screens on the 2003 box.
Thanks.

v9 will hopefully move over to parsing the NTFS permissions instead of trying to read/write checks
