14th February 2013, 07:57 AM #3 Love it. There is some great sounding stuff there Nick - The checkin / checkout system was something i was considering just the other day as i loaned a pool laptop out and scratched a post-it note for my record!
I'd love to see a little more attention on the helpdesk - along the lines of the recent addition of uername and time to the front screen list.. Perhaps a nice table with lots of info - ability to assign jobs to individuals (encompasing the "hand back to user") - high profile job "ownership" with perhaps a smart-tile listing outstanding jobs etc.
Largely all front-end stuff
Other than that can't think of anything at the moment! It's running really well for us (though my server still needs an occasional reboot - i havent debugged that properly yet!

Nothing planned at the moment, it is there if you can figure out how to use it

Yep, my Thursday meeting was cancelled and the business manager had already decided to close the school today, so I'm 'working' from home

Oh, thought that was what some of the stuff meant... whoops.
Can i request that as an easier feature then please - so we can have live tiles on intranet homepage.

15th February 2013, 10:27 AM #8 @mattianuk some live tiles will work with the kerberos login for internal, my files and exchange tiles will not work, as well as the whole my files section. Users will get a prompt telling what works and what doesn't.

Exchange is the one I wanted
Thought that would be quite a funky feature, but can understand the difficulties. Wouldn't need myfiles.
The booking room stuff would be good though!

15th February 2013, 10:31 AM #10 @mattianuk, it's down to how the authentication system works and unfortunately I haven't figured that part out completely yet. I may add a remember me checkbox for internal users on the forms logon page to remember their details.

15th February 2013, 01:52 PM #11 Little sneak peak
But, but, the Exchange Live Tiles are working, as long as you know about the new Exchange Impersonation feature

21st February 2013, 02:04 PM #14 Help Desk request:
Just setting up HAP for another school and they have quite a limited Google Apps email system. I'd quite like to tell the Helpdesk to treat a couple of specific users as "Helpdesk admins" who recieve emails in the same way that my "support@freman" group does.
Looking at the xml, the people who recieve helpdesk emails appear to simply be whoever is on the "reply-to" address on the email config line. I'd quite like to specificially direct helpdesk emails to the asst head and the technician (it's a small primary). Hope this makes sense..

13th March 2013, 01:06 PM #15 Another helpdesk request.....
Basically, when you get over the 500 closed tickets mark, by the time of archiving off and creating a clean xml file i have nearly 700 tickets in one xml file which was painfully slow. A fix for this would be wonderful
