Hi Nick
We got the multi booking working last time as detailed here HAP+ v8 Feature Requets on HAP8. Ive upgraded to 8.4, and its broken again
. Ive checked the code, and the edits we made are there - so Im a bit stumped. Can you take a look?
Did we get any further with adjusting the column widths at all fo display as well, or the catagories of resources a la earlier versions?
Many thanks

28th November 2012, 06:08 PM #3 Great, thanks - how easy would it be to add a drop down selector menu - or should we just change the entry points to the booking system from the home page? How easy would it be to add a custom "type"?
Any ideas on what might have broken the multi session?

28th November 2012, 06:38 PM #4 Custom entry points on the homepage was the idea. You can also do resources specific /hap/bookingsystem/r-ICT1
None, sorry to say, apart from some gui changes the booking system is much the much in code as before. I do have another developer doing some work now, and he has checked in some changes to the booking system.

28th November 2012, 07:06 PM #5 OK, cool. Could you see if they would have a quick nosey over it for me... Its gone back to doing the "Blank list" on the drop down as it did before. I might try reverting the code changes we did last time to see if it makes a difference.

I had spotted that - a nice gem I wasnt expecting was the resource titles to be clickable! Maybe in future we can add a description to each resource which only shows when you are in the "Single Item" view like that...?

Sorry for jumping in on this but in case I broke anything..
The dropdown list for number of periods is blank?
What is your config for the that bookable room and what list of periods do you have?

28th November 2012, 11:17 PM #8 Hi minimoo. Yep, the drop down for the number of sessions to multi book is blank. It's the same as the issue originally in the linked thread. My sessions are Session 1, AM Break, Session 2, Lunch, Session 3, PM Break, Session 4, After College.

3rd December 2012, 03:15 PM #13 Ok - if you want me to try out any bits before, let me know. I think Ive spotted another bug, or Im doing something wrong.
Im trying to use the Show to and Hide from with AD groups. An example is shown below. I thought that this would show only to members of the Area-Science and Area-Maths groups. It doesnt, it doesnt show to anyone other than Admins. I put a user in there just to make sure, and that works! Help!
<resource name="Laptops - Core" type="Laptops" admins="USERSHERE" enabled="True" emailadmins="True" enablecharging="True" showto="Area-Science, Area-Maths, mapstafftest" hidefrom="" years="Inherit" quantities="30" readonlyto="" readwriteto="" multilessonto="none" />

3rd December 2012, 03:17 PM #14 Hmm, odd that should be how it works. Have you tried using a semi-colon instead of comma?

-
3rd December 2012, 03:39 PM #15 Tried it with just one group in there, and its still unhappy
It just doesnt show it when it should. The hide appears to work when Show to is set to inherit.
