    String was not recognized as a valid DateTime

    Hello,
    I am currently trying to set up an instance of Home Access Plus' Booking System, and I get a strange error that I do not see others encountering on this forum. On the booking system, when I attempt to use the date picker to select certain dates, I am presented with this error: "String was not recognized as a valid DateTime." On the date picker for the month of November, the error occurs on all of the days after the 12th of November.

    Would someone please assist me in fixing this error? I have tried myself but to no avail.

    Thank you so much!
    -C. V.

    I have resolved the error after adding the following line to the "web.config" files in the HAP root folder and the BookingSystem folder after the <system.web> line:

    <system.web>
    <globalization culture="en-GB" />

    If there is another way to resolve this error, or this method is not recommended for any reason, please let me know.

    Thank you,
    -C. V.

    The other way is editing the ~/bookingsystem/default.aspx file, I've manually forced jQuery into en-GB mode, you can remove that format reference and it should go back to what you expect.

    Search and remove
    Code:
    .formatDate('d MM yy', curdate)

    Here's a more elegant solution that doesn't involve modifying code or configuration files.
