Thanks for this Nick! What's the URL to view the tracker data, is it just /tracker? I removed some of the original links from the dashboard. ;-)

Morning Nick, you knew this was coming but I have a question.
I have got to the part where I have to create login account in sql server which your video shows you creating a IIS APPPOOL\extranet user but in my case I am using IIS6.5 on a different server.
I assume I have to use network service user but seem unable to select it when browsing active directory. The server is a member of cc4 domain so I see the domain listed and click check names and it finds network service, I click to add it and it ends up being entered as the name of the sql server\network service instead of the cc4 server\network service.

First am I right in thinking I should be using the network service account for iis6.5 and do you know how I can enter the account properly?
    Thanks

Ok managed to get it to work had to add the user in SQL server as domainname\computername$.
I think it is working correctly now but I dont seem to see any graphs, does it require something else for this?

Been looking at the aspx file and noticed at the top these lines:
    <!--[if lt IE 9]><script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="<%:ResolveClientUrl("~/scripts/excanvas.js") %>"></script><![endif]-->
    <script type="text/javascript" src="<%:ResolveClientUrl("~/scripts/jquery.jqplot.min.js") %>"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="<%:ResolveClientUrl("~/scripts/jqplot.dateAxisRenderer.min.js") %>"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="<%:ResolveClientUrl("~/scripts/jqplot.highlighter.min.js") %>"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="<%:ResolveClientUrl("~/Scripts/jqplot.cursor.min.js") %>"></script>

Looking in the scripts folder show that none of these .js files exist. Is this the problem?

Ragbuster - can you clarify what you mean? I am looking to set this up too and have IIS on a different server to SQL.

There is another way without using SQL at all. If you look in inetpub\logs\LogFiles\W3SVC1, you will find a heap of log files with names like "u_ex120820.log". These files contain all access (except upload) for HAP and a new file is created each day at GMT midnight.

I wrote a quick and (very) nasty VBS Script which looks through the file after it's been rolled over and separates out records that contain:
    . "GET /hap/ - 443" - these are "login" records
. "GET /hap/Download" - these are "download" records

I then output a few fields (eg. User ID, Date/Time, IP Address) to separate "login" and "download" log files and, hey presto! There's my logs.

I actually go a bit further and extract data for the previous 30 days within my script and... convert the time to our timezone (Australian ESST) using a VBS Function that I found on the Internet. It took me only and hour or so to write the script

    Hope this helps

Hmm. Entries are being logged to the database but when I try to view reports the browser crashes. Any ideas? I'm pretty sure that it only started doing this after I added the new scripts folder that you uploaded to the forum. Does that folder need any special permissions? I literally just pasted the folder in over the old scripts one.

Have tried in IE9 and also in Safari on iPad. Shall I delete the scripts folder?

Really odd. That's the same folder as I have and it works in IE9 and Firefox
