    [HAP V8] View Details looks weird.

    Hi Nick,

    A staff member asked about view details in My Files today, first time we'd looked at it and it looks a bit weird to us.

    Is this something we can resolve? We've tested in IE 8 and 9, Chrome isn't as tall but the columns are squashed on top of each other still.

    The original query was whether you can sort files by date modified, which doesn't seem to be the case.

    Thanks for your hard work.

    That's an odd view, it should look like this

    Ok, IE seems to do something strange with the details view

    Ok, try this

    ~/style/myfiles.css

    Find
    Code:
    #MyFiles.details {
        display: table;
        vertical-align: middle;

    }
    Change it to

    Code:
    #MyFiles.details {

        vertical-align: middle;

    }

    Hi Nick,

    Thanks for the speedy response, I've made the change above and the individual files look better now but the table as a whole seems squashed to the left.

    Mine looks fine in both Chrome and IE without modification - Though the icons in Chrome are a bit small..
    @wadtech Folders have no "Extension" or "size" data, so those columns will be squished when no actual files are displayed. If you look at a folder with files in it, it should look normal.

    Thanks for that, I should have taken a picture of the file :-) See attached.

    Yeah, mine does that too.. I think the columns just resize according to the smallest file (rather than a minimum width).

    It's one of the limitations of CSS there
