IIS 7.5 New Install (on top of RM Easylink)
Hi guys
I've run through a new install of the brilliant HAP+ today on a Win2k8R2 DC (I appreciate member servers are better suited) that runs RM Easylink.
Worked through initial setup.aspx to configure some initial settings, noticed that the IIS validated had failed on 'Integrated Pipeline', 'Services Activated' and 'App_Data Write Access'. I had actually created a new app pool for HAP and run the ICACLS command on HAP and App_Data for the HAP app pool user.
The problem is I can access the log in page but then after passing my credentials I get 'The website declined to show you this web page HTTP403' and it's the same on the IIS server.
Any ideas please?
Should I build a new website (instead of sub-locating the app inside the RM default website) and try from scratch?
Thanks in advance
Regards
Marty

2. Have you got .net 4 installed
3. Is the application pool configured correctly
4. Is the anonymous logon user been set

Thanks for the response Nick
1. Yes - with a third party 4096bit cipher cert
2. Yes
3. integrated .net 4 pipeline
4. iis 7.5 authentication - anonymous enabled, from based enabled.
These are on on the application level.
Some of the settings are different for the containing website - different app pool, authentication and security etc

Can you navigate to /hap/api/setup and confirm it's working, then /hap/api/setup/help

Hi Nick
I think I've got it now.
The default document was being inherited from the website (default.asp), by setting this to Default.aspx everything seems to work great now.
Thank you very much once again for a great product!
Regards
Marty
