HP Laserjet P3005dn
Our main classroom laser printer has decided that enough is enough so we are looking to replace it with a new mono laser printer.
The one I'm looking at is the HP Laserjet P3005dn. Does anyone have any positive or negative comments about this model or suggestions for another similar size/price printer?

Re: HP Laserjet P3005dn
I have got no experience of this specific printer - the model I usually buy is the HP4250N - never bothered with one that has a duplex unit (indicated by the d at the end of the model number for those who do not know - the n being networked and t is an extra tray).
These are rock solid and pretty quick - but a little more expensive than the model you have indicated.
I cannot see there being a huge disadvantage to the model you are looking at - I am betting 90% of the parts are the same anyway - just check out the cost of the toner.

Speak to ICT Direct (see http://www.edugeek.net/edugeekad/dis...rgid=8&adid=18 ) - I'm sure you can haggle a second user 4100n out of them for somewhere in the region of £100... I just grabbed 2 :D
As limbo said... the HPs just keep going no matter what is thrown at them (or what you throw them at ;) )
