I'm sure that manufacturers make it as difficult as possible to register warranty on the basis that many will give up. I've just spent 30 minutes or more trying to register an Acer warranty! I've had all sorts of problems with Toshiba over online registrations not working. I have to say, the bulk registration on HP systems wasn't as bad but still a [ain to do for 80 odd computers.
I was considering buying a few Acers but there doesn't seem to be a bulk registration and I don't want to go through it all repeatedly.
I found hp to be painless to register carepacks, but it's a very long drawn out procedure to organise repair.
Got a newish laptop going back for a palmrest and trim repair :mad::mad: (heavy handed staff I suspect), the box UPS left to pack up the laptop in is a self assemble two part affair, akin to assembling an IKEA wardrobe without instructions!
