KYOCERA MITA FS4000DN LASER PRINTER ISSUE - HELP PLEASE!

Hi Everyone!

I'm a newbie on here but would like to pick your brains regarding the above printers.

In a short space of time we have had 6+ printers go down with all similar errors. They keep jamming or complaining of a jam when there doesn't seen to be any blockages at ALL!

Errors like jam in duplex unit and casette 1 are common and even after a thorough inspection and air dusting, they still won't work.

Kyocera support doesn't want to know as they're out of warranty unless we foot a large call out bill totalling over £250 (Without parts ot labour).

A little digging indicates a firmware error and a flashing of the EPROM, but to be honest I can't find more than that.

Any help would be FANTASTIC! :)

i will have a word with my kyocera contact and seen if there are any known issues or any downloads etc to fix your issue.

Where did you purchase the printers from......they may be able to offer some sort of help?
