Replacement monitor - best bang for buck?
I've had to 'surrender' my rather nice 24" HP monitor to my daughter. "You can borrow it whilst my PC is out of action" has somehow turned into a permanent arrangement! I'm still not quite sure how it happened...
Anyway, the crux is, I need a new monitor, but I'm not looking to replace the HP per se, more just to get as decent screen as I can for around about £100.
Must be widescreen, must have DVI and must be a decent spec! Not much to ask then... :p
I could probably stretch to £120 as Comet are doing an HP at this price, and as I was always very pleased with my HP screen (had good contrast, blacks were black) it might be the way to go.
So.... looking for those in the know to throw some suggestions my way as to what is going to be my next monitor.
P.S. Currently using a 19" Samsung "Syncmaster 4:3 screen which is horrid, so would like to avoid Samsung as I'm not impressed with this screen in the slightest.
