ERGO Secure desk
Hi all,
We've invested a fair amount in the last 9 months in a fair few double ERGO secure desks. We had the blanking plates fitted on the front, however the students have been prying these off with their fingers. Has anybody else had this problem? if so has anybody else approached Ergo and what have they said?
Cheers

You can if you want but why would you want a picture?, the plates are about 6" by 2" and held in place by a small bolt to a nut that has been pressed into the face, however it pulls out very easily!!
No-one else had the same problem then?

We've got some secure desks but haven't had that issue. We have had an issue with some of the cabling and things and I have to say Ergo were fantastic. They came out and had a look and decided to do some modifications. They did this the next week and put an engineer on site for the day to tidy up all the little niggles.
I would certainly drop them a line and see what they say. I couldn't have been happier with the way the handled our problems.

I used a spring balance to measure how much pressure was needed to pull one of the screws out and it was only 2 to 2.5KG, so to pull one of the plates out only about 10pounds of pressure was needed, which is nowt. We have now resorted to using self tapping screws to stop the front being pulled off.
Cheers
