Teacher Cabinets / Podiums
Sorry there is no "Furniture" Hardware section
We are looking for teacher PC Cabinets...
something like what RM has
http://www.rm.com/Secondary/Products...?cref=PD331431
Except RM's are very very expensive....
But the size of the RM is not too big..
as other "cupboards" are far cheaper but much larger...
ie:-

any ideas ?

No but I am very interested in this thread as we need something like this to tidy up all the wires of IWB installs.

What we did to tidy the IWB cables up was build a 10cm W x 50cm D x 70cm L wooden box and attach it to the back of the teachers PC and put the multiplug, splitter box, board power supply and the rest into the "HOLE"
Out of sight out out of mind..
Re: Teacher Cabinets / Podiums
what we did was to buy these cupboards from argos Argos Morgan Cupboard and then got the site technician to drill a hole in the back for the cables two vents on the side and he just add a lock to the door, oh and added a extra shelf for wireless keyboard and mouse. this was for IWB PC's in classrooms to stop damage and to store such things as the keyboard and mouse as well as the projector remote, and the great thing is we worked out the total cost was 65 - 70 quid.

We've got one for use in the hall, Smarter Solutions supplied it for us (another company built the cabinet for them I think) and its pretty good quality, very solid at least
