We have on in the ICT support office used by two of us.
I get around 3.5k prints from it in econo mode and as yet have not had any issues with it at all.
An all round good printer
we have about 3 of these printers, and ive not had any issues with the printer and very easy to set up......
Its not the fastest printer in the world, so if you are looking for speed then look at something else....
as for cost ive not had to change any toners as yet, so not worked it out.... but all round good printer, and can take heavy load aswell without problems....
We just got over 10.
the first one out the box made a loud noise when it is switch on & 1 of them sometime smudges. Apart from that they r very good vaule for money
Buy a 3800n for £600 and get £200 cashback from HP instead.
I read a report the other day which I can find at the moment that compared a bunch of these lower cost colour lasers and they recommended a dell 3100cn instead of the hp as the hp cost more to run and was also extremely slow even in monochrome only.

plexer, you thinking of this months Computer Shopper review?
http://www.pcpro.co.uk/shopper/labs/.../products.html
nope thats not the one this one had the HP2600, DEL 3100CN and a smaller konica one in it.
Ben
we got about 8 of these.
They are good liitle lasers for the money. We only use them in areas with not such a heavey work load.
the one thing i dont like about the 2600n is the cost of toners.
we paid £179.99 for the printer and to buy a full set of toners for it , is just short of that.
its cheaper to buy a new one every time the toner runs out. Madness!!!!
