Been asked by a school to do some self-build PC's because they liked the last lot I did so I did a bit of searching around and found a new case I hadn't tried because space is a premium and thought I'd give it a spin along with an Intel Due 8200 (45nm) and a Gigabyte MB.
The case is a Silverstone ML01B (milo series) which takes a mATX board (mini, micro, random greek character, uATX??? why people don't standardise is beyond me!)
Anyway, got it all in there, powered her up and started to worry instantly... Noise? there's no noise... so I take off the case and look... yep the fan on the CPU cooler is going round but mighty slow.. check the case fan, nope that's not moving so I give it a nudge and it starts up.
Check the hardware health in bios and find the temps are 21'C and 24'C (CPU & system)...
I then sat very still for about 30 seconds as my brain froze...
I think I like these systems... :D
About the only problem I've found is the CD drive door on the case doesn't close too easily when the case is side standing, not a major deal but a minor quirk... Not bad though... not bad at all..
