We have had some rather shoddy projector screens, which have not lasted long. The end casing which holds the spring release and roller, has broken completely off, which has rendered the screen useless.
The other annoying thing is the fixing is rather lightweight, and again uses the end casing to hook over a screw holding the screen in place on the wall. The pull mechanism to pull the screen down and release it is also not very easy to use. The blind then rolls up very sharply, hitting the main central casing, causing it to jump off the screws fixing it to the wall!!!! One of the end casings then drops down from reasonable height onto the floor, causing it to break the entire screen.
Why projector screens cannot be designed like window blinds, with a beaded string, I don't know!!! Has anybody got hold of a screen that lasts?!!!
