I have i mimio unit that i have had issues with from day 1. on Monday i was advised that while he was using the mimio teach it stoped working and that he presumed that it was beacuse the pen had run out of charge, that however does not seem to be the case as i have had the pen on charge for 2 full days without it being used and there is no life in the unit, has any1 had this problem or did i get a friday/monday unit?
Try hooking it up with the cable, especially if you are running a new version as Studio 10 is just out, this will update the firmware if it needs is and things should run a bunch smoother, ours refused to calibrate till the firmware was updated via the USB cable.
You an also try running it for a couple of days with the USB cable instead of wireless just to isolate if it is a communication/power issue.
Our units are generally pretty rock solid and stand up to the usual mistreatment they are exposed to on a daily basis.
hi sorry meant to metion that we have been running it through the cable the whole time.
do you have another one to swap it with, could be user error maybe or dodgy battery. If you can replicate it I'd just report it as a warranty claim to the suppliers.
we do have another unit, i seem to thing it is the whole unit as its not working on a second computer, oh well supplier i guess here i come for round 2 :|
