Spec a projector
Wonder if you kind people can help me out. We're after a projector for our dining room that will be used as a display wall, for power point presentations and watching movies through.
I was thinking a fairly high powered one with about 2500 lumen's. This is mounted about 4 meters up and bottom of screen will be higher than 2.5m so kids won't be blinded.
Can anyone recommend some models? Main points are 1024x768 native resolution, 2500 lumen's? cheap bulb replacements.
I've looked at Sanyo and Optoma but would like a bit further mindset. I've also considered NEC after having 3 installed that have good quality.
Thanks

Re: Spec a projector
Hitachi's I have one thats about 3000 lumens and is brilliant. Also maybe worth looking at the NEC mirror ones, they are great, 80" from a few " from the wall.

Re: Spec a projector
Also consider Epson, they have a free bulb replacement deal on at the moment. Plus they are basically a similar price/performance to the NEC projectors.

Re: Spec a projector
I will agree with google on the Epsons, they have 3 year bulb warranty on the bulbs if you only use them in normal / low brightness mode which on the one I got is 1500 lumens :D
