Need a cheap sata internal hard drive i3 compatable
So i received my barebones package today, only to find out that my ATA hard drive wasn't supported by the i3 mother board, ( hate not knowing a damn thing about computers ) Now I need to find a cheap hard drive, for my computer, can someone please help me?

2nd August 2012, 03:14 PM #4 God no - you want a computer that's worth using, don't use anything IDE in it.
The difference from IDE to Sata2 is stonking. Use it, you can pick up the drives from ebay cheap enough or any of the decent suppliers do them. Make sure it's 7200RPM sata2 or 3 hard drive if you really must have a hard drive, or if you really want to see what difference a modern PC is, grab a solid state drive.
