Best Digital Camera for a special school
Our Sony Mavica FD 200's are coming to the end of their life and I was wondering what everyone else is using in schools. We have the CD-500 model, but its incredibly slow and difficult to use, for staff that is.
Anyone recommend a robust, user friendly camera ? Thats not worth nicking?
Thanks
Kevin

If you want something fairly robust and simple, the Digital Blue Snap! cameras are pretty good. Seen them in use in a nursery by 3 and 4 year olds, and all have survived so far! I think they are 3 megapixel, and around £80 each.

We bought some fujis for art they have optical zoom but the lens is contained in a housing so the moving parts are not susceptible to dust etc...
That model has been discontinued now though.
The fuji range that look like dslr's

Re: Best Digital Camera for a special school
Thanks for the replies. Thinking of purchasing four Fuji, because, as you say they are fairly robust and chunky
