KVM Switches
HI Guys,
First post. Embarrasing question about KVM switches.
Rebooted my servers last night and the 8 port KVM switch then locked me out of all the keyboards and mice. I would normally have VNC installed but as we are a new school have not had time.
Any ideas not a prob Ive come across before.
Cheers
Matt

Disconnect the KVM from everything. Unplug it (if its powered). Power it up and plug it back in. See if it works. If it doesn't. You'll have to turn everything off. Servers + KVM + Monitor and try again.
Check for firmware updates for your KVM (if its possible to update it).

If it's USB - simply disconnect the USB plug from the back of the server and plug it in again (while that port is connected).
You can also sometimes trick it by plugging in a mouse/keyboard and then plugging in the KVM.
